Back in 2001 I was part of SWA:K - Scouts With Attitude: Kandersteg (not 'Sealed With A Kiss' as suggested by parents).
This was held at the international Scout Camp in Kandersteg, Switzerland; and had five coach loads of Scouts and Leaders going.
Over the ten days we walked round the local town, up the Alps and all sorts - See pictures below, especially the 'local shop for local people'.
The most memorable event was the white water rafting. Every day a few groups would go down to a local 2-3 rated river and 'raft' down in an eight-man inflatable dingy type thing. Over the entirety of the camp only one of the rafts ever capsized... and I happened to be in it. The nose of the raft went up over one rock, and on it's way down after got caught solid in another rock right in front of us. Me being my usual lucky self happened to be sat right at the back of the raft and got essentially catapulted out as the raft went head-over-heels. Unfortunately there were no photographs of it happening, but there is a rafting photograph in the album below.
