So here I'm going to list my kit, with links where I can. Quite a bit will be for more generic camps rather than expeditions, but there should be a lot of crossover.
Additionally I'm normally the one hiking without actually wearing waterproofs. My personal preference (at least in 10C+ weather) is to wear wicking and quick drying t-shirt and shorts, and just keep other kit dry in the rucksack. Obviously not advisable for younger Scouts.
Crua Koala hammock set
Crua Modus tent (replacing my Blacks Constellation Lynx) - all in one tent, roll mat, and sleeping bag.
Vango Santo Air (with groundsheet and sky cover - this is not for expeditions!)
Eurohike double flock air mattress (again, not for expeditions)
Vango inflatable roll matt (backup/expedition)
Vango Nitestar 350 sleeping bag
DD Hammock Jura 2 sleeping bag (better for hammocks)
DD Hammocks Bergen Rucksack
DD Hammocks 2l Water Bladder
Helikon-Tex Poncho, with DDHammock ridge cord, paracord prusik loops, and a couple of spare guy lines.
Marmot Minimalist Jacket (PreClip will do for a cheaper option)
Marmot PreCip Eco Full Zip Hardshell Waterproof Trousers
Trespass waterproof softshell trousers (for colder hikes)
Craghoppers zip-off trousers (use shorts set when too wet for the softshell trousers - need gaiters to keep water out of the boots though)
Fjallraven Vidda Pro Ventilated Trousers (alternative to the Craghoppers - more durable and vents instead of full zipp-offs, but less adjustment or give in the waist)
MEC Mochilero Stretch Convertible Trousers (lightweight summer hiking trousers, with plenty of stretch for climbing)
AWD Just Cool Breathable Cool Polo Shirts
Merrell Coldpack Ice+ 8" Zip Polar waterproof boots (cold weather, less than stellar ankle support though due to using a zip, rather than laces or a combination)
Scarpa Terra GTX boots. If on sale I’d recommend the Scarpa Ranger II.
